Explorercraft currently adds 4 unique biomes and minor changes to the existing biomes in order to enhance the wonder of exploration in Minecraft, while trying to keep within the themes and settings outlined within vanilla.
Bamboo Grove[]
The Bamboo Grove is a biome designed to feel like the ancient bamboo forests of Arashiyama and the Far East in general, with special and uniquely themed items and blocks to help create that Japanese Shrine or Chinese Temple.
Forested Mountain[]
The Forested Mountain was designed in mind to improve the mountainous world generation in the game, as the Mountains biome color palette is fairly ugly and plain. The main take on this biome is to add more of a variety of colorful and exciting mountains to the game!
Snowdonia[]
Snowdonia: the tallest and mightiest mountain in the UK and home to a region of extreme beauty in the mod creator's home country: Wales.
Themed around everything Welsh, Explorercraft adds a whole range of unique items, blocks, and world generation to spice up this biome to best exemplify the real world scenes it was based on. We hope you find this biome extremely attractive to hunt down and track all the gloriously rare mysteries tucked away, both high and low!
Fungal Forest[]
The Fungal Forest is one of the many places the Infected Monsters call their home. This swampy forest is filled with vast marshes of mud, dirt, and all kinds of new fungi! This biome is also infected from the overgrowth and vines and spread of the Willow Tree. However, not all is dark and dirty in this sickly place, for beauty can grow from darkness, as a rare flower blooms in these marshes.
