The Fungal Forest is an overgrown swampy forest that has been claimed by vegetation and various kinds of fungus. Basked in the shade of the overgrown tree canopy, many hostile creatures corrupted by the fungal growths wander throughout the boggy forests, describable only as Infected Monsters. The invisible spores makes breathing more and more laborious, as you trudge through the eerie swamps.

The Fungal Forest's defining flora includes the Willow Tree, which is native to the region. Willow Trees have blueish leaves, most likely due to the unique caustic atmosphere. Another effect of the spores can be seen in the Infected Willow Logs, which are entire branches of Willow Trees that have been overtaken by bioluminescent fungal growths. Long Willow Vines drape down from the dense foliage, both hindering visibility and offering a quick escape from the terrors on the swampy floor. Accompanying the Willow Trees are Tall Mushrooms and overgrown Dark Oak Trees.
The marshy landscapes are covered in mud, mycelium, and all kinds of dirt. Chunks of mossy cobblestone are littered over the gentle slopes. Lupine flowers mesh tightly with the different bioluminescent Glowshrooms, which wanly light up in night time. In addition to the brackish pools of water dotting the swamp, one can find larger lagoons surrounded by mud banks that offer a rare break in the dense canopy. In the murky waters, one can find Water Lilies push out from beneath the water's surface, their beauty casting a stark contrast with the dull browns of the Cattails.
