Glowshroom are the mushrooms that litter the Fungal Forest floor. True to their name, they give off a frail bioluminescence, with the same color as their caps. They come in two distinctive green and pink species. Though harmless looking, their intoxicating spores are what now permeate the Fungal Forest, worming into the woodwork and infecting all it can.
Usage[]
Their vivid exteriors and pale glow are what make it great for decoration. After being taken out of their native environment, they can be planted without any worry of infecting other creatures, as the spore density is greatly decreased.
The Green Glowshroom has an alternative use, as well: it can be used to craft different Infected Willow wood items. It takes just one mushroom to infect 8 blocks of Willow Logs. The same recipe configuration can be used to infect Willow Planks and Willow Wood.
While the Pink Glowshroom cannot be used in any crafting recipes, its glow is noticeably brighter than that of the Green Glowshroom. What it lacks in being multipurpose, it makes up for in being a master of one.
