The Heart of Y Ddraig Goch is a coveted item that is protected in the rare Slate Dungeons under the mountains of Snowdonia. It is similar to the Ender Dragon Egg, but this dragon exuded its power in flame, rather than Ender energy. Even to this day, it is too hot to handle without protection, as you will burst into flames if you come into contact with it.
History of Y Ddraig Goch[]
The Welsh Dragon (Y Ddraig Goch, meaning the red dragon) appears on the national flag of Wales, and is the pattern displayed on the in-game Welsh Flag. The sigil can be traced back to as early as 829 CE, and it is popularly supposed to have been the battle standard of King Arthur and other ancient Celtic leaders. However, many experts believe that it evolved from an even earlier Romano-British national symbol.
Usage[]
You alone do not have the knowledge to transmute these Hearts into something useful; not alone, that is. Hidden in the mountains, you'll sometimes find a Wizard Tower, containing a sultry yet powerful Wizard. If you're able to find the Heart of Y Ddraig Goch and take it to him, he'll exchange it vast quantities of incredibly rare items and blocks.
