Jade, the Mineral of the East, is an ore that spawns in the Bamboo Grove. It can be used to make powerful tools to rival diamond, as well as being dazzling simply to look at. It is the strongest of the ores added in Explorercraft.
Generation[]
Jade spawns exclusively in the Bamboo Forest, and generates below y=40. Jade has a rarity similar to that of diamond, so it'll take tenacity to obtain large amounts. Its ore resembles tiger claw slashes, with the seams filled with vibrant green.
Jade can also spawn as a loot item in chests, found throughout the world. In these chests, you can also find its corresponding Horse Armor.
Tools[]
Jade can be used to make every vanilla tool, with the same damage as that of diamond tools. However, diamond tools mine slightly faster than Jade tools, and are more durable.
One item of note is Jade's use in crafting the Jade Longbow, one of if not the most powerful weapon in Explorercraft.
Jade Tool and Armor Set
Armor[]
Jade has its own set of armor, which is comparable in strength to diamond armor but lacks the same durability. Though Jade armor provides much more base armor protection compared to Diamond, Jade armor lacks Armor Toughness, which in practice means that Diamond will protect more from harder hits.
